i hope manners is the next cool trend
so you will have to leave the usa? ): i feel so bad for you, hopefully you will be able to get back! ♥ (is it really better than indonesia or canada...?)
Well, to be honest with you anywhere is better than Indonesia ^_^;; It’s true that some of the stories you hear about third world countries are exaggerated, but they’re really not kidding about the term DEVELOPING countries.
Indonesia is crowded, unorganized, and chaotic. A large amount of the people are uneducated, or poorly educated. Racism runs very very deep in the country and don’t get me started on sexism.
The patriachy system is archaic. Indonesia is a dangerous place for women. In May 1998 (which is not too long ago), there was a riot in which at least 168 chinese women (even teenagers) were raped and killed. I was 9 years old at that time (I’m Chinese by race) and I will never forget the feeling of fearing for my life in my own motherland.
I was in high school walking home by myself where a guy passed by and literally grabbed my ass in passing. Needless to say I was a minor. Do they have things like ‘age of consent’ in Indonesia? Nope. Will I be heard if I report it to the police? Nope, because I’m Chinese and the majority of the police force is native Indonesian, they don’t give two shits about us.
Anyway, racism in Indonesia goes way back. Sometimes I don’t think this country can ever get better. As we all know, racism comes from ignorance. Ignorance comes from the lack of education. The developing countries (I know racism is really bad in Malaysia too) suffer from SEVERE lack of education. I don’t wanna talk your ear off about the history of racism and segregation in Indonesia but let me know if you’re interested and I’ll tell you more about it.
I mean when I lived in Long Beach I had to go for a group project and I walked home alone at 3 in the morning. I was scared yes, but I got home safe. In Indonesia? Don’t even think about it. Not even your bone will be left.
Also, you think traffic in LA is bad? Welcome to Jakarta. Hope you bring a book with you because you won’t be getting anywhere for at least two hours.
So yeah, America has its shitty part too but honestly compared to us you guys have it good here.
(LOL I ENDED UP COMPLAINING I’M SORRY)
I think Canada is pretty rad even though I’ve never been there. I’m just concerned about the weather (I’m not built for the cold ;w;) and I already have lots of friends in America… So it’s not that America is better than Canada, I just prefer it :3
BUT life does what it does and you just make the most out of it, you know? I’m sure I’ll find a way out of Indonesia eventually :) We just elected a new president and the new president seems very promising too, so things are looking up.
I’m comparing the beta and the new version of the episode!!!

THANK YOU LORD IN HEAVEN!!!!
Don’t you think?
reminds me of my fear of dark ugh i actually had it so bad couple of years ago that literally everything with a light source was lit and i cried and cried because i was so scared
i am so sorry to hear that. I have a fear of the dark as well and I would starve myself or get a urinary infection just to not have to approach the dark. There’s just something about the dark that really reminds you how alone you are and also that something can just snatch you from nowhere—and being alone doesn’t help that kind of feeling. I can stand the dark if I’m with someone in the room. I think for me that was the biggest thing, and basically, no amount of light can really provide the comfort of having someone there with you. It will always feel dark.

Time to bring this up again, I see. Please don’t reblog pictures from Suwabe’s Twitter or Blog. He doesn’t like it and he has asked people not to do it. If he finds it, he will ask you to take it down. He’s even started watermarking the darn things. Please be a polite fan AND DON’T REBLOG HIS PICTURES.
